Internships |

 |
Interns are involved in all activities at the
Printshopthe largest and oldest openly accessible printmaking
studio in New York City. The Printshops busy studios host
130 artists in residence, 30 classes each year, several exhibitions,
lectures and artists talks, and the Printshop participates
in the annual New York Print Week and Editions Fair.
The Printshops internships offer opportunities
to learn and hone printmaking skills, gain collaborating experience,
meet exciting artists and instructors, learn about contemporary
art, get an insiders perspective on the New York City contemporary
art community, and help produce new cutting-edge artwork that pushes
the boundaries of traditional printmaking.
Internships are available throughout the year. Interns are expected
to have some working knowledge of printmaking, or a demonstrable interest. Regular attendance
and a commitment to the program are required.
Part-time internships are unpaid,
but students can receive academic credit or use our spacious
and well-equipped studio in exchange for their donated time.
