The Lower
East Side Printshop offers artists full access to professional printmaking
facilities for independently produced projects. Artists work in
a productive atmosphere alongside other contemporary printmakers.
Participants should have experience in the techniques and the equipment
they wish to use. Technical
assistance is not included in the Studio Rental program, but
is available at additional cost.
Studio Rental is available to the
US and international artists. There is no application form, however you will be asked to provide materials pertaining to your artistic activity for the records only.

Studio Rental is available on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly
basis.
Please note: Prices are per person; collaborators and assistants are required to pay the same rental fees.
MONTHLY RENTAL: $300 per month
Access:
Artists' Studio: 24-hour access
Monthly rental starts on the 1st of the month and ends no later than 6pm on the
last day of the month.
Includes workspace, storage shelf, access to tools and equipment, basic supplies,
and a 20% discount on the Printshop's classes. Editioning paper is not included.

to 8 jpegs of your work, a letter of intent, and the name
and contact information for one reference.
Monthly Rental fee is due on or before the 1st of the month. It is non-refundable and non-transferable to other persons or other months.
WEEKLY RENTAL: $200 per week
Access:
Artists' Studio: 24-hour access
Weekly rental may start any day of the week and last for a maximum of 7 days,
ending no later than 6pm on the last day.
Includes workspace, tools and equipment, basic supplies. Editioning paper is
not included.

Please contact
the Printshop to schedule your rental; studio rental cannot be scheduled
on-line. If your desired time slot is not available, the Printshop
will reimburse you.
There are no application
deadlines for any Studio Rental program. Applications may be submitted
by email to info@printshop.org.
You are also welcome to mail or drop off your application materials in person. The Printshop will return all application materials when the return
postage is provided.
Rental fee must be paid in advance. Hourly and Daily Rental are
subject to scheduling; please contact
us in advance. Artists are required to complete their work independently,
clean up their workspace, and leave the studio by the end hour of
their rental.
