Katelyn Reece Farstad is a transdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, painting, drawing, writing, and sound. Using found and transformed materials—including steel, wood, gauze, resin, plaster, fabric, leather, and paint—Farstad creates sculptures, epistemic devices, and reliefs that occupy a space between organism, monument, relic, and tool. Her work investigates how materials retain histories through accumulation, repetition, wrapping, staining, layering, and improvisation, allowing traces of labor, memory, and decay to remain visible.
Farstad received her MFA from Hunter College in 2025 and her BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she also studied abroad at the Bauhaus in Germany. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including a nomination for New Positions at Art Cologne.
Her research explores perception, abstraction, and the production of reality, approaching abstraction as both a mode of thought and a method of rehabilitation. Through sculpture, writing, and drawing, she investigates how cognition, matter, and form continually remake one another.
Hector Gomez is a Mexican-American artist living in New York City. His work moves through textile processes, photography, 3D scanning and printing, sound, and binary code. These media operate in his practice as connected ways of building images.Threading the space between the physical and digital, the handmade and technological, the personal and collective. At the core of his work is a focus on survival, labor, memory, and what is translated through that language. How images form through repetition, memory and process.
Charlie Hyman (b. 1999; South Carolina) is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BFA, BS). His current practice focuses on creating narratives through hand-built ceramic vessels adorned with detailed illustrations. Applied to a surface viewed in the round, his vessels create narratives imbued with humor and exaggeration based on his own life and observations. The result is a farcical examination of the societal patterns and structures that Hyman is continuously questioning his place within.
Antonio Pulgarín (b. 1989) is a Colombian-American visual artist and arts administrator based in Brooklyn, NY. He holds a BFA in Photography (2013) and works across photography, photo-montage, collage, printmaking, and mixed media. By recontextualizing family records, archival imagery, and queer printed media, his practice explores Latinx/é and LGBTQ+ identity, memory, and the politics of visibility and representation.
Pulgarín’s work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Aperture Foundation, BRIC, Baxter St at CCNY, and Photo Élysée. His work is held in the permanent collections of Photo Élysée, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and Soho House.
His practice has received recognition from organizations such as YoungArts, En Foco, The Magenta Foundation, Lighthouse Works, Latin American Fotografía, American Photography, and the PDN Photo Annual. His work has been featured in publications including ARTnews, VICE, The Advocate, Slate, and LensCulture. Beyond his studio practice, Pulgarín actively contributes to the cultural ecosystem through his work in arts education administration.
Brenna Sastram is a Connecticut-born printmaker currently based in New York City. She obtained her BFA in interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on printmaking and sculpture, from SUNY Purchase College of Art and Design in 2023. Sastram is multiple times a published artist, has been awarded several printmaking residencies, and has been shown in exhibitions across the country. She has had the privilege of working in seven print shops across five states, has taught workshops to printmakers of all ages, and currently acts as the co-curator of an intimate DIY exhibition space in Brooklyn, New York.
Talha Shams (b. 1991) is a Pakistani visual artist based in New York. Working across painting, printmaking, sculpture, and installation, his practice explores concealment as both a strategy of survival and a mode of expression. Through the lens of queer experience, he examines visibility, resistance, and the ways identity is shaped by systems of belonging and exclusion. Drawing from personal histories and South Asian visual traditions, his work engages with cultural memory, identity, and belonging. Shams received his MFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2026 and earned a BFA in Printmaking from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 2022. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions nationally and internationally, including at UCL Art Museum, London, Sharjah Art Book Fair, RISD Museum, and Uffner and Liu Gallery, New York, among others. His first solo exhibition, Fluid, was held at R Space, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2024.
