What does it look like when artists make their own holiday cards? Usually beautiful, charming, and (hopefully) a touch wacky! In this workshop we will look at several examples by famous artists who produced their own unexpectedly delightful, mailable, mini-masterpieces and create our own to wow our friends and families. And also to show them how much we love them. The 'Artist's Holiday Card' is a great way to create an actual edition of handmade prints while taking some of the pressure off your typical projects through experimentation and play. Students will experiment with relief, collage, embossing techniques.

Evan Bellantone is an interdisciplinary artist living in New York City. He has worked as a printer at Jungle Press editions, working on projects with artists such as Ellen Gallagher, Jacqueline Humphries, and Nicole Eisenman. He earned an MFA at Hunter College, and BA from Bard College.
