Anat Keinan is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Working with vast range of materials from metal, wood, multilayers woodcut print, monotype, and drawing—she I create large-scale architectural installations that revolve around the human body in space, exploring how space and physical objects shape our movement, stability, choreography, and emotions. In doing so, her work challenges and rethinks how the human body reacts to and is activated by material and tactile space, reimagining and deepening our understanding of the complexities of our shared world. Keinan received her MFA from the Yale School of Art, BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and studied Fine Art at HGB Academy in Leipzig. Her work has been exhibited at ZAZ10, Times Square, NYC, The National Library of Israel, YvYang Gallery in NYC, The Israel Museum, The Jerusalem Artist House, The 7th Biennale for Drawing in Israel, The Natural History Museum TLV, Atelier Shemi sculpture garden, The Jerusalem Print Workshop, "Fresh-Paint" Art Fair, The New Gallery Teddy, and more. She has been awarded fellowships and residencies including Vermont Studio Center, Anderson Ranch Art Center, Penland School of Craft, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, and upcoming residencies at Wassaic Project and Artport TLV.
